Discover what you may be ready to let go of and how journaling can help you release old fears, limiting beliefs, expectations, guilt, and stories that no longer serve you. In this post, Jewels introduces her new Letting Go: Inhale Courage, Exhale Fear 90-day guided journal and shares how small moments of reflection can help you create more space, clarity, and courage in your life.
Have you ever noticed how much energy it takes to hold on to something you’re ready to release?
A thought.
A relationship.
An old story about yourself.
Something someone said to you years ago.
A mistake you still replay in your head.
A fear about what might happen next.
Limiting beliefs about yourself.
Sometimes we know we need to let something go, but knowing that and actually doing it are two very different things.
And that’s exactly why I created my newest guided journal:
Letting Go: Inhale Courage, Exhale Fear

I’ve spent a lot of time talking about stress, overwhelm, self-awareness, journaling, and finding your way back to yourself.
But lately, I’ve been thinking about the other side of that equation.
Sometimes we don’t need to add more.
Sometimes we need to let something go.
Maybe you’re holding on to…
- A fear that keeps you playing small
- Guilt about something you can’t change
- Someone else’s expectations of you

- Perfectionism
- An old version of yourself
- Anger or resentment
- The need to control everything
- A story you’ve been telling yourself for years
- Something that simply isn’t serving you anymore
And here’s the thing:
Letting go doesn’t mean you don’t care.
It doesn’t mean pretending something didn’t happen.
It doesn’t mean forgiving someone before you’re ready.
And it definitely doesn’t mean waking up tomorrow magically free of everything that has been weighing you down.
For me, letting go is about creating enough space to ask:
What am I ready to stop carrying?
A 3-Month Journey Back to Yourself
The Letting Go journal is designed as a 90-day guided journey.
Rather than simply telling you to “let it go” (because, honestly, if it were that easy, we’d all be doing it!), the journal gives you space to explore what you’re holding, understand it, and begin releasing what you’re ready to release.
Over the three months, you’ll be invited to reflect on things like:
1. What am I holding on to?
Before we can release something, we need to acknowledge what it is.
Sometimes we don’t even realize how much we’re carrying until we slow down long enough to notice.
2. What is this costing me?
What happens when we continue carrying the same fear, resentment, expectation, belief, or old story?
How does it affect our thoughts?
Our relationships?
Our choices?
Our bodies?
Our energy?
These are not always easy questions, but they can be incredibly revealing.
3. What am I ready to release?
This is where the work starts to shift.
Not “What should I let go of?”
Not “What would everyone else like me to let go of?”
But:
What am I actually ready to release?
Because there’s a big difference.
This Isn’t About Becoming a Completely New Person
I’m not interested in helping people become some shiny, perfect version of themselves.
I’m much more interested in helping people come back to themselves.
The person underneath the expectations.
Underneath the pressure.
Underneath the constant need to keep everything together.
The person who might be tired.
The person who might need a little more compassion.
The person who might finally be ready to say:
“I don’t want to carry this anymore.”
That’s where journaling can help.
Putting your thoughts on paper creates a little bit of distance between you and the thoughts swirling around in your head.
You can slow down.
Notice patterns.
Ask different questions.
And sometimes, you discover that the thing you’ve been fighting isn’t actually something you need to fight anymore.
You Don’t Have to Do It All at Once
One of the things I love about a 90-day journal is that you don’t have to figure everything out in one sitting.
You can take it one day at a time.
One prompt at a time.
One honest answer at a time.
Some days you’ll have a lot to say.
Other days, maybe you’ll write three sentences and call it a win.
That’s okay.
This isn’t homework.
There are no gold stars for filling every page perfectly.
It’s simply an invitation to slow down and listen to yourself.
So… What Are You Ready to Let Go Of?
Maybe this is your season to release something you’ve been carrying for a long time.
Maybe you’re not sure what that thing is yet.
Maybe you’re somewhere in between.
Wherever you are, you don’t have to have all the answers before you begin.
You just have to be willing to get curious.
What would become possible if you weren’t carrying that thing anymore?
That’s a question worth exploring.
If you’re ready to begin your own 90-day journey, you can find the Letting Go Journal here:

And if you already have your copy, I’d love to know:
What are YOU ready to let go of?
You can reply to this email, leave a comment, or simply write the answer in your journal.
Sometimes the first step is just admitting it to yourself.
Inhale courage.
Exhale fear.
And let a little bit of the weight go.
